Coaching for leaders is a special type of coaching. Faced with a situation of isolation and a complex environment characterized by increased time pressure, our support has become a means of reassuring managers, and offers them the possibility of obtaining a mirror effect providing them with a confrontation of ideas necessary for making more informed decisions.

Coaching with our clients is all the more necessary as the manager’s job involves changes in the latter both physiological (production of neurotransmitters with a tonic and euphoric effect, which create an addiction) and cognitive (construction of a pseudo-reality conforms to desire: distorted self-image, egocentric causal attributes, loss of contact with reality).  Also, through coaching, he finds a protected space for speaking, able to respond to his need for (re) construction of identity, in addition to the answer to his questions.

In view of this particular context, we provide the managers we support :

– Our understanding of their issues: the level of responsibility, complexity, ambiguity, uncertainty, loneliness specific to leaders

– Our ability to establish a relationship of trust in order to free speech through attentive listening, through empathy, emotional intelligence and confrontation

– Our behavior which permanently ensures a reciprocal and intense metacommunication, a particular vigilance made of attention and adjustments of rhythms which nourish “the alliance” as well as a capacity to be constantly force of proposal while respecting the specificity of the rules of ethics that apply

Some examples of goals we can help a leader with :

– The improvement of his organization and the management of his  priorities, a particularly sensitive subject when the manager changes function, when he is going through a professional transition, or when he feels “overwhelmed” by a situation that he is the only one to be able to solve it

– Develop leadership, learn to communicate better and become aware of verbal impact in order to better persuade and unite your teams

– Improve the cohesion of your management committee or team, understand the behavioral dimensions and adapt your management style according to the experience and needs of your team members

Whatever the subject, the manager, assisted by his coach, must become aware of his areas that need improvement to be able to find solutions on his own more easily.
